Bio

Abby Polakow has been designing costumes and clothing for as long as she can remember. She learned to hand sew at the age of three and to use a sewing machine by the age of eight. In high school, she won the award for best costume design at Iowa's annual International Thespian Festival. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology where she studied fashion design, and later DePaul University where she studied costume design. Abby now lives in Los Angeles and has been designing costumes professionally since 2001.
